- Taylor Baggett (Gray’s Creek
junior) — The Best of 910Preps
Volleyball Player of the Year and Western Carolina commit led the U8
regular-season and tournament champion Bears with 332 kills. She
also had 55 service aces, 30 blocks, 192 digs and 233 service
receptions.
- Mackenzie Bagley (Gray’s Creek
senior) — A senior leader for the
Bears, Bagley put up a team-high 397 assists this season to go with
75 service aces.
- Ece Buyukkaan (Berean Baptist
junior) — Named to the NCISAA all-state
team, the Turkish exchange student ranked sixth in the state among
private-school players with 91 aces. Her 218 kills ranked ninth in
the NCISAA 2A and she led the Sandhills Conference with a hitting
percentage of .405 as Berean won the league championship.
- Kailah Harris (Northwood Temple
junior) — Also an NCISAA all-state
selection, Harris notched a team-high 325 kills for the Eagles,
averaging 4.9 per set. She also posted 60 aces, 41 total blocks and
228 digs.
- Tabitha Newlin (Cape Fear junior) —
The Colts' kills leader led the U8 Conference as well as all of
Cumberland County with 345 kills for the league runners-up,
averaging 3.7 kills per set. She also had 41 blocks and 136 digs.
- Allyson Rouse (Pine Forest senior) —
Rouse led the All American Conference runner-up Trojans with 315
kills, ranking second in the league. She also posted 42 aces, 43
blocks and 347 digs in a true do-it-all senior season.
Second
team
- Elie Feliciano (Gray’s Creek
junior) — The Bears' second-leading
attacker behind Baggett, Feliciano had 186 kills along with 148 digs
and 293 assists.
- Elizabeth Forrester (Pine Forest
senior) — Forrester put up 257 kills
for Pine Forest and a team-high 70 aces. She also had 237 digs and
477 service receptions.
- Addison Gunter (Cape Fear
sophomore) — Cape Fear's second-leading
attacker, Gunter posted 231 kills and 78 aces, ranking sixth in the
3A East and No. 1 in the U8 for the latter.
- Taylor Miller (Jack Britt senior) —
A leader for the Bucs, Miller had a team-high 179 kills and 55
blocks as Britt finished fourth in the U8.
- A'mya Pilkington (Gray's Creek
sophomore) — Only a sophomore, the 6-1
Pilkington posted 121 kills to rank third for the Bears.
- Arianna Story (Seventy-First
senior) — The Falcons' kills leader
threw down 114 this season along with 28 aces and 123 digs.
