First Team
Sam Williams, Keeper, Fayetteville Academy
The junior keeper was an all­conference, all­region and all­state selection for the Eagles, who advanced to the state semifinals.

Brian Engle, Defender, Terry Sanford
Sophomore added five goals in addition to anchoring the Bulldog defense. All-conference and all-region.

Cesar Hernandez, Defender, Hoke County
The senior center back anchored the back line for the Bucks. All­conference, all­region.

Corey Croegaert, Defender, Jack Britt
Seven goals, six assists as a sweeper and midfield. MVP of the Mid-South tourney, plus all­conference, all­region.

Patrick White, Defender, Pinecrest
All-conference and all-region, the four-year starter helped lead a back line that allowed only 25 goals all season.

Chris Ryan, Midfield, Pine Forest
Had 15 goals and seven assists en route to becoming the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year. An all-region selection.

Conner Haskins, Midfield, Lumberton
The junior had 17 goals and 16 assists for the Pirates, and was also an all­conference and all-region choice.

Troy Beckham, Midfield, Cape Fear
Tied for the county lead in assists (16) and added 15 goals for the Colts. All­conference, all­region selection.

Justin Lopes, Midfield, Terry Sanford
Shared the county lead with 16 assists and also chipped in 11 goals en route to all­conference, all­region honors.

Richard Palmer, Midfield, Pinecrest
Anchored the midfield for the Patriots on his way to earning all-conference, all-region and all­state recognition.

Jesus Castro, Forward, Cape Fear
The striker led the county public schools with 23 goals in a season that saw him earn all-region, all-conference selections.

Hunter Bigler, Forward, Fayetteville Academy
The CFIC Player of the Year scored 22 goals and added 11 assists. All-region and all-state from both the NCISAA and coaches association.

Jack Walsh, Forward, Fayetteville Academy
The senior import from England had 16 goals and 13 assists. All­conference, all­region and all­state honors, and the NCSCA region player of the year.

Joseph Latham, Forward, Hoke County
The senior striker piled up 32 goals and eight assists in 2010. He was an all-SEC and all-region selection as well.

Dane Nelson, Forward, Pinecrest
Scored a team-high 24 goals, including the first goal in all but the Patriots’ final playoff match. All­conference, all-region.
